Our History

J & B Greene Company was established in 1988 by Joe and Barbara Greene.  The actual building was built in 1980 and Joe and Barbara ran it as a general hardware, farm supply and feed store under Joe’s father’s name H.G. Greene.  Joe & Barbara bought out Joe’s brother’s half of the business in 1988 and established J & B Greene Company.

What We Sell

        J & B Greene Co. started out selling some hand-held power equipment and a few push mowers.  Since then, the business ventured more into the Outdoor Power Equipment business.  And today we are the area's leader in sales and service of outdoor power equipment!  Our leading lines are: Husqvara, Cub Cadet, Bob-Cat, Great Dane, Yazoo-Kees, Robin, Dolmar, MTD, and Troybilt.  We still continue to sell general hardware, plumbing, fertilizer, Bartlett feeds, paint, and some farm supplies.  We also sell several major lines of gas fire places, gas logs, and heaters (vented and non-vented), along with wood inserts and heaters.

Our Customers

        J & B Greene Company prides itself on the after-sale service we provide to our customers.  We have certified parts personal to take care of your parts needs and two certified technicians to take care of your equipment needs.   Some of their certifications include Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Tecumseh, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, Cub Cadet/MTD, Bob-Cat, Generac, and Robin.  If you are inconvenienced by slow shipment of parts on mowing equipment, we will give a loner at no charge.
